Savor a creamy feast with your loved ones by cooking an entire pot of Carbonara. With all the delicious flavors of the bacon and ham infused within the white sauce coating the pasta, you can be sure that every slurp will be a delightful experience.

With this recipe, you can have a mouthwatering bowl of pasta served on the dining table in minutes. Just make sure to cook enough sauce and pasta, not too much and not too little so everyone can have a fulfilling meal, but do make sure to make a lot of crispy bacon so you and your loved ones can place a lot on your serving of Carbonara.

Carbonara

Ingredients
  

Set A:

  • 1 kg. pasta, preferably spaghetti
  • 8 cups water
  • 1 Tbsp. oil

Set B:

  • Oil, for frying
  • ¼ kg. bacon, sliced

Set C:

  • 3 Tbsps. butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pc. onion, minced
  • 1 can UFC Garden Fresh Whole Mushrooms
  • ¼ kg. sliced ham
  • 1 tall can evaporated milk
  • 1 pack all-purpose cream (750 mL)

Instructions
 

  • In a pot of boiling water, add salt. Place the spaghetti in and cook to al dente.
  • Mince the garlic and onion. Slice the bacon. Slice the ham into strips.
  • In a hot pan, add the bacon. Let it cook until the fat renders. Once the fat renders, divide it into half. Set one half aside in a bowl. Continue to cook the other half until it is crispy. Make sure to move it around the pan. When the bacon has become crispy, transfer it to a plate and set aside.
  • Using the same pan, sauté the garlic and onion in the bacon fat. Add the butter. Once the butter has melted, add the UFC Garden Fresh Mushroom Pieces and Stems. Season with salt. Add the ham and bacon. Mix.
  • Pour in the evaporated milk, then add the cooked pasta. Season with black pepper, then add the all-purpose cream.
  • Top with grated cheese, then garnish with parsley.
