Fish with Tausi

Ingredients
  

Set A:

  • 500 g. fish fillet
  • ¼ cup flour
  • ¼ cup cornstarch
  • ¼ cup water
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Set B:

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 thumb-sized ginger, julienned
  • 1 pc. red bell pepper, julienned
  • ½ pc. white onion, julienned
  • ¼ cup Silver Swan Sweet Chili Sauce
  • ¼ cup chicken stock
  • 1 Tbsp. Silver Swan Oyster Sauce
  • 2 Tbsps. Silver Swan Salted Black Beans
  • 1 tsp. sesame oil
  • 1 pc. green onion, julienned

Instructions
 

  • Season the fish fillets with salt and pepper. Mix.
  • In the same bowl with the seasoned fish fillets, add cornstarch, flour, and water. Mix it all together until you make a batter.
  • In a pan, heat the oil. Fry the battered fish fillets. Make sure to flip it over after one side has become crisp.
  • In a bowl, mix chicken stock, Silver Swan Chili Sauce, and Silver Swan Oyster Sauce. Mix.
  • In a pan, sauté the ginger, white onions, red bell peppers, garlic, and Silver Swan Black Beans.
  • When the fish fillets are cooked, remove it from the pan and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to drain the excess oil. You can start frying the next batch of battered fish fillets.
  • In the same pan with the sautéed aromatics, pour in the chicken stock mixture. Season with black pepper and sesame oil.
  • Arrange the fried fish fillets on a plate. Pour the sauce on top of it. Garnish with green onion.
