This festive rice dish with Spanish origin is both flavorful and delicious! Perfect pang-handa sa fiesta!

Ingredients: 

Set A:

  • 4 cups glutinous rice
  • 4 cups water or chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons cooking oil

Set B:

  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 piece white onion, chopped 
  • 1 piece chorizo de Macao or Bilbao, sliced diagonally
  • 500 grams chicken fillets or 1 kilo chicken (bone-in), seasoned with salt 
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder 
  • ¼ cup tomato sauce
  • 4 tablespoons fish sauce, to taste 
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper 
  • ½ cup raisins (optional)
  • 3 cups coconut cream (from 2 pcs. coconuts)
  • ½ cup green peas
  • 1 piece red bell pepper, diced

Set C:

  • 3 hard- boiled eggs, for garnish
