Ingredients
- 2 Tbsps. oil
- 1 pc. onion, chopped
- 4 pcs. garlic, pounded
- 150 g. pork slice
- Fish sauce, to taste
The Vegetables:
- Ladies' fingers (okra)
- String beans (sitaw)
- Bottle gourd (upo)
- Water spinach (kangkong)
Instructions
- In a pot, heat the oil. Sauté the onion, garlic, and pork. Season with patis. Pour in the water. Cover and let it boil.
- Remove the tops of the okra and chop it. Break the string beans apart with your hands. Remove the seeds of the upo and slice it.
- Once it starts boiling, add the string beans, upo, okra, and kangkong. Make sure to soak the vegetables in the soup.
- Season with patis. Leave it to cook until all the vegetables have softened.
