Been craving for your favorite Bicolano dish – Laing? We made it simpol so you can easily enjoy this delicious vegetable dish at home!

Serves 4 to 5. 

INGREDIENTS:

 Set A:

  • 1/4 kilogram pork, diced
  • 1 piece onion, chopped
  • 1 piece medium-sized ginger, pounded
  • 1/4 cup shredded dried fish (soaked in water before shredding) or bagoong 
  • 1 cup water
  • 2-3 cups coconut milk
  • 1/4 kilogram dried taro leaves 

Set B: 

  • 12 pieces medium shrimps (optional)
  • 1- 1 1/2 cups kakang-gata (coconut cream)
  • 4 pieces bird’s eye chilies 
  • Fish sauce, to taste
