We all love pancit! So here’s the easiest pancit recipe you can easily prepare anytime!

Serves 5 to 10.

INGREDIENTS:

Set A:

  • 250 grams rice vermicelli noodles (bihon)
  • Water, for soaking the noodles

Set B:

  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 piece onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 pieces chicken breast fillets, sliced thinly
  • 1 piece Chinese chorizo, sliced thinly
  • 1/2 cup kikiam or squid balls, sliced into thin rounds
  • 200 grams shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 stalks celery (optional)  
  • 1 piece large carrots, sliced thinly
  • 1 ½-2 cups chicken broth
  • 2-3 tablespoons shrimp head juice
  • 4-8 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce, to taste

Set C:

  • 1 small cabbage, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • Black pepper, to taste
