1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Set B:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tsp. vanilla extract

Set C:
Add what you want!

PROCEDURE:
A. Sift the Set A ingredients into a bowl and mix everything.

B. Beat the butter and sugar until fluffy, and sugar is dissolved. Then mix in the rest of Set B ingredients. Add the Set A mixture and mix until moistened and combined. Be careful not to overwork the dough. If adding other chunky ingredients to your recipe, combine with sifted dry ingredients before combining Sets A and B.
