Ingredients:

FOR THE BASE:
SET A:
1/4 cup soft unsalted butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon powder
3pcs. green apples, peeled and cored, and cut into wedges

FOR THE CAKE:
SET A:
2 cups cake flour
1 1/2 tsps. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

SET B:
1/2 cup Full Cream Milk
1/2 cup apple puree

SET C
1/4 cup Unslalted Butter at room temperature
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
4 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla extract

SET D:
4 egg whites
1/4 cup granulated sugar

PROCEDURE:
For the Base
A. Mix Set A ingredients, except apples, until well combined. Pour into a springform cake pan and arrange the sliced apples over it. for the Cake

A. Sift the Set A ingredients into a bowl and mix everything.

B. Mix Set B ingredients in a separate bowl and mix until well combined.

C. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy, and sugar is dissolved. Add egg yolks one at a time. Then add the vanilla extract last. Fold in dry ingredients (Set A) and wet ingredients (Set B) alternately into creamed butter until just combined.

D. Whisk egg whites, adding the sugar gradually, until you have stiff peaks. Fold into the batter. Pour half of the batter over the arranged apples and the other half of the batter in a plain greased pan, then bake. To check doneness, insert a toothpick to check if it comes out clean.
