RAISIN CINNAMON BREAD

The scent of cinnamon bread baking in the oven is spellbinding. It’s about time you made one for the family.

INGREDIENTS:
Set A:
3 1/2 cups bread flour
1 1/2 tsps. instant yeast
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. salt

Set B:
3/4 cup evaporated milk
1 cup water
1/4 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature

Set C:
3 Tbsps. cornstarch
1 cup dried raisins
1 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp. cinnamon powder

PROCEDURE:

A. In a mixer with a hook attachment, combine all Set A ingredients and dry mix together.

B. Add in the Set B ingredients and mix until the mixture becomes a stretchy dough. Let it rest for 30 minutes.

C. In a bowl, combine Set C ingredients and mix until well combined. Flatten the dough and spread the Set C mixture and roll the dough tightly. Then cut into 1inch thick rolled slices, place on a greased springform cake pan, and bake until crust is light golden brown.

Sugar Glaze:

In a bowl, combine all ingredients and mix until well combined. Pour over the bread.
