This tasty quick bread is not only easy to make but is also quite special because of its flavor and texture. Enjoy it with a drizzle of honey or a dollop of butter.

INGREDIENTS:
Set A:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Set B:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 whole eggs

Set C:
3/4 cup full cream milk
1 cup fresh yellow corn, grated

PROCEDURE:
A. Sift the Set A ingredients into a bowl and mix everything.

B. In another bowl, combine butter, sugar, and whole eggs. Mix until well combined. Fold in Set A mixture and mix until just combined.

C. Add in full cream milk and grated corn last, and mix until just combined. Pour into a parchment lined square pan, then bake. To check doneness, insert a toothpick to check if it comes out clean.
