Hotdogs wrapped in bread are a great breakfast or merienda treat.
INGREDIENTS:
Set A:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. instant yeast
4 Tbsps. granulated sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups water
Set B:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
Set C:
12 pcs. sausages
1 egg yolk
1/4 cup evaporated milk
PROCEDURE:
A. In a mixer with a hook attachment, combine all Set A ingredients and mix until combined.
B. Add the butter and continue mixing until dough becomes smooth and stretchy. Let it rest for 1 hour or until double in size.
C. Roll out dough and divide into 12 pieces. Then stuff with a sausage and wrap with the bread dough according to your design. Let it rise for 20 minutes. Combine egg yolk and evaporated milk, brush the rolled dough with it, then bake until crust is light golden brown.
