DISH YOU KNOW?

Hamonado is a traditional Filipino recipe. It is usually served during special occasions like fiestas and Christmas. It came from the Spanish word ‘Jamonado’ which means prepared like hamon.

INGREDIENTS:

Set A:

  • 1 kilo pork belly
  • ¼ cup banana catsup
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoon sugar

Set B:

  • cooking oil
  • 1 onion
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • 1 1/2 cups pineapple
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 pc red bell pepper
  • ½ cup raisins
  • Salt
  • pepper
