Surol is a famous chicken recipe from Camiguin. You can find it everywhere in the province, from restaurants to carinderias. Surol is similar to tinolang manok but the only difference is that surol have gata or coconut milk which gives creaminess to the dish.
INGREDIENTS:
 Set A:
- 2 tablespoon cooking oil
- 2 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 t tablespoon ginger, julienned
- 1 kilo chicken
- 1 stem lemongrass
- 2 cups coconut milk
Set B:
- ½ piece green papaya
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 4 pieces red chilies
- 1 piece long green chilies
- 1 cup dahon ng sili
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
