Sopas is the local version of the chicken noodle soup of the Americans. It was introduced during the American colonial period. The name simply means “soup” in Tagalog. Nowadays, there are different ways of cooking soup in the country. In fact, each clan or family has their own recipe which they passed down to the younger generations.

Set A:
- ½ chicken
- 4 cups water
- 1 tsp salt
Set B:
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic
- 1 whole onion
- 3 stalks celery
- ¾ cups carrots
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 2 cups water
- Salt
- 1 ½ cups elbow macaroni
Set C:
- 3 pieces hotdog
- slurry (water and cornstarch)

- 2 cups evaporated milk
