Saging na saba is a variety of bananas which only grows in tropical islands. In the Philippines, saging na saba is abundant. Even in backyards, you can find a tree of saging na saba. And because of Pinoys’ creativity, they turned saba into different recipes from main dish to snacks and to panghimagas.

INGREDIENTS:

Set A:

  • 1 bunch saging na saba
  • 3 cups oil
  • 1 1/2 cup brown sugar

Set B:

  • Bamboo skewers as needed.
