Minatamis na saging or sweetened banana is one of the few authentic Filipino desserts. You can find banana trees almost everywhere in the Philippines. And because of its availability and simplicity, Pinoys make minatamis na saging at home all the time. Some add sago and langka. But nowadays, lesser Filipinos are preparing it at home.

INGREDIENTS

Set A:

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3 pieces pandan leaves
  • ½ cup langka
  • 8 pieces saging na saba
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Set B:

  • 1 cup sago
  • Ice
  • milk
