Pancit is already part of Pinoy celebrations! In every occasion, simple or extravagant, there’s always a Pancit. And aside from being delicious, it is also believed that Pancit represents long life.

The word Pancit is derived from the Hokkien word, “pian i sit” which means “convenient food.” Pancit was introduced by the Chinese sellers in the country. Nowadays, many versions of Pancit are existing. In fact, each town in the country has their own special Pancit recipe.

INGREDIENTS:
Set A:
- 5 cups water
- 1 whole onion
- 1 stem leeks
- Half chicken
- ¼ kilo liempo
- 2 tablespoon salt
Set B:
- 1 tbsp garlic
- 1 whole minced onion
- 1/4 cup wood ear mushrooms
- 1 cup hipon hibi
- 3 tablespoon Chinese chorizo
- 1/2 cup carrots
Set C:
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 1/2 kilo sotanghon noodles
- ¼ kilo canton noodles
- 1 cup chopped cabbage
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 cup Chinese celery
