Tinola is an authentic Filipino dishes. In fact, it was mentioned in Noli Me Tangere written by Jose Rizal. Tinola can be referred to as laga or nilaga. Aside from chicken, many variations of tinola is existing in different provinces of the country. One of the famous variation is Tinolang Tahong.

INGREDIENTS:

Set A:

  • 1/2 kilo mussels

Set B:

  • 3 thumbs ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 whole onion
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 stem lemongrass
  • 1/2 piece papaya
  • 2 cups malungay leaves
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • Pepper
